Manga And I

1. It's In Book Form. If you're like me and you prefer comics to actual reading, then Manga is your thing. I often get weird looks when I say I don't like reading, I mean I'm relatively intelligent, but when you say you don't like reading you're automatically though of as an idiot. So I have to force my self to do something that I think is mind-numbingly boring, and that's where Manga comes in. Ha ha ha! Now I can read comic books in book form! What I mean is if a Manga if fairly popular it will be turned in to an anime. Now this is normally done half way through the Manga so we often get similar or even identical stories at the beginning, and then sometimes they branch off becoming completely different. One Piece is a story of a young man named Monkey D. Luffy who was inspired by the pirate, Red-Haired Shanks. Early on in the series, 22 years before the present timeline, a pirate named Gold Roger, generally known as the Pirate King had been executed. However, before his death, Gold Roger told the crowd about his treasure, "One Piece". His death sparked what might become the Golden Era of Pirates as countless pirates set out to look for his treasure. The main character, Luffy becomes a pirate, who dreams of becoming the next Pirate King and sets out to recruit crewmates and begin his adventures. This tells the plot of One Piece. Nonetheless, this anime didn't become great over night. One Piece has a great history that would allow it to become what everyone considers to be the greatest manga ever created. Call it a dream for fans of manga and anime for years now. Some “new comers” to the fandom may not realize it, but once upon a time there wasn’t a way, either legal or illegal, to get brand new manga just as it came out from Japan at their finger tips. Even in the late-90s into the early-otts, as the anime boom started taking form, folks had to import things like  Shonen Jump  weekly for a high cost, and then spend back breaking hours trying to translate the Japanese pages themselves if you wanted the here and now.
